Recep T.E started to war against to social media last thursday. He explained to close twitter from Bursa and it has been blocked since thursday night.
This decision has been responded in the world. USA and Europen countries are reacting it.It isn't normal for a democratic country. Everybody should use social media and the other connections freely. I'm ashamed of this stuation as a Turkish citizen.
I think that there are two possibility in the back of his decision.
One of them is about his tape which is about his irregularity. We learned it from facebook and it will be serviced on 25th March from social media. Because of this reason he blocked it and according to his speech maybe he'll blocked facebook and youtube.
The other thing is about his strategy. Before our local elections, he wants to increase his votes with this way. Because he want to show his promoters that he can resist to the world. It likes Israel event in Davos. His promoters will think that he is powerful leader and he can do what he wants.
Although twitter was banned, using twitter increased in Turkey. Because everybody found the other way for connecting to twitter. They changed their DNS setup. But I read that google DNS was blocked, this morning.
In my opinion, they won't ban technology. Because somebody will find another way for connecting to social media or the other websites. Turkey doesn't like the other countries. Because there are bans for trangressing in Turkey.

P1: I would say twitter is forbidden , not closed.
p3: Better than possibility, possibilities , and there are different conditions for the reason of the decision I would say..
Although twitter was banned, using twitter increased in Turkey. => Usage of twitter increased in Turkey, you can say.
Because somebody will find another way for connecting to social media or the other websites=> Because anybody can find a way to connect social media and the websites. would be better I guess :)

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I found a few capitalization mistakes: Thursday, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube
Now let's look at the 1st paragraph:

It's very important to look at the word "to" in your sentences:
- "started to war" -> "started a war". "To" is not necessary here, but you should replace it with the article "a".
- "against to social media" -> "against social media". Here, you have a prepositional phrase with 2 prepositions.
"He explained to close" -> I understand your choice of "explained" but I think "threatened" is a better word choice.
2nd Paragraph:
"This decision has been responded in the world. USA and Europen countries are reacting it.It isn't normal for a democratic country. Everybody should use social media and the other connections freely. I'm ashamed of this stuation as a Turkish citizen."
- "This decision has been responded in the world." This a passive sentence. Very good, but don't forget a passive sentence should have the word "by" -> "This decision has been responded to by the world."
- "reacting it" -> phrasal verb, "reacting to it".
The rest of the sentences in the paragraph are great!
3rd Paragraph:
"I think that there are two possibility in the back of his decision."
- Özlem and Gamze both suggested "possibilities". This is correct.
- "in the back of his decision" -> "behind his decision"
4th Paragraph:
"One of them is about his tape which is about his irregularity. We learned it from facebook and it will be serviced on 25th March from social media. Because of this reason he blocked it and according to his speech maybe he'll blocked facebook and youtube."
- "One of them is about his tape which is about his irregularity" -> "One of them is a tape about his irregularity". The sentence is grammatically correct but you can simplify here.
- Maybe instead of "serviced" you can use "available"
- "maybe he'll blocked" -> Future Simple "maybe he'll block". Özlem had a good suggestion as well -> Future Continuous "maybe he'll be blocking Facebook and YouTube in the future"
5th Paragraph:
"The other thing is about his strategy. Before our local elections, he wants to increase his votes with this way. Because he want to show his promoters that he can resist to the world. It likes Israel event in Davos. His promoters will think that he is powerful leader and he can do what he wants. "
- "Because he want to show his promoters that he can resist to the world" -> "He wants to show his supporters that he can resist the world" The original sentence is a fragment, but if you take out "because", it's a normal sentence. Also, supporters is a better word than promoters. See my other 2 small suggestions in the sentence :)
- "It likes Israel event in Davos. His promoters will think that he is powerful leader and he can do what he wants. " -> "It is like the Israel event in Davos. His supporters will think that he is a powerful leader and he can do what he wants." A couple small fixes - articles, and "is" in the 1st sentence.
6th Paragraph:

- Gamze has a perfect suggestion for this paragraph!
- "Because everybody found the other way for connecting to twitter" -> "Everybody found another way for connecting to Twitter" Another fragment using "because".
- "They changed their DNS setup. But I read that google DNS was blocked, this morning." You can combine these sentences -> "They changed their DNS setup, but I read that google DNS was blocked this morning." Sometimes in informal writing, it's ok to start a sentence with "and" or "but".
7th Paragraph:
"In my opinion, they won't ban technology. Because somebody will find another way for connecting to social media or the other websites. Turkey doesn't like the other countries. Because there are bans for trangressing in Turkey."
- More fragments. We can combine sentences here. "In my opinion, they won't ban technology because somebody will find another way for connecting to social media or the other websites." and "Turkey doesn't like the other countries because there are bans for trangressing in Turkey.
- Gamze's suggestion is good. I would change it just a bit. -> "because people will find another way for connecting to social media or other websites"
